Late departures without prior arrangement will incur an extra charge, please see reception to arrange a later check out time if required.

Our rooms are a smoking free zone. If you wish to smoke out front of your room please use the ash trays provided and make sure your door is closed.

As a courtesy to other guests we prefer smokers to utilize the area around the Gazebo, Pool garden or BBQ.

A Charge of up to $300 WILL apply if the rooms have been smoked in, this is to cover the necessary and extensive cleaning costs involved.

Please note pets are not permitted on the property. If you are found to have a pet on the property you will be immediately asked to move on without a refund and will be charged a fee for any extra cleaning costs.

Assistance pets are accepted, but with prior warning and proof of documentation. Hilltop Motel Management still reserve the right to charge for an extra cleaning fee if it is found that your pet damaged the room.

The motel has free WIFI for all our guests, in your devices WIFI settings look for “Hilltop Guests”.

The password for the WIFI is located on the bed head Just below the Light switch.

We can provide a continental Breakfast; breakfast menus are available at reception.

Please note breakfast is not included in your room cost and will be an extra charge depending on your order.

Please return your completed menu to reception by 6pm

Continental breakfast is delivered to your room the night before. Please don’t leave your breakfast trays outside your room as rubbish blows away and it encourages cats, vermin and ants.

For a cooked breakfast we suggest visiting one of our fine eateries in town. See below for a list of local eateries.

The BBQ is free for guests to use, it is located on the back fence with a seating area adjacent. If you wish to use the BBQ and are unsure how to light it please let us know at reception.

A Box of Utensils, Condiments and Crockery/Cutlery are available at reception.

Currently we are offering BBQ packs. Pack includes a range of BBQ meat selected by our local butcher (enough to feed 2+ people), an onion and a half loaf of bread w' butter for $25. Inquire at reception for availability.

Air conditioning units both heat and cool.

Please note if the unit is set on auto it will blow both cool and hot air as the unit tries to control the temperature of the room.

Note: SETTING THE UNIT BELOW 20 OR ABOVE 28 DEGREES WILL NOT COOL OR HEAT THE ROOM ANY QUICKER it will only cause the unit to freeze up and no longer work.

The remote for the air conditioner is located in its bracket on the side of the large cupboard.

All rooms are equipped with a microwave, please note that it should only be used for re heating and not cooking.

Please be aware that our rooms are not equipped for cooking and by law cooking in the rooms is not permitted.

For a number of reasons we do not stock our rooms with crockery and cutlery, however we are more than happy to provide anything your require upon request at the reception.

A shower chair, detachable hand rail and non-slip shower mat is available, please enquire at reception.

Find Iron, Ironing board and hairdryers in the large cupboard in your room.

It is seldom cold in Ouyen so we don’t have spare blankets in our rooms. If you feel you will need an extra blanket don’t hesitate to ask us.

(Don’t be scared to leave the heating going during the night with the swing function turned off, we are confident that our new split system air conditioners are very quiet.)

Due to issues with electric blankets being left on, we have chosen to take them out. The fire risk was just too great.

The swimming pool is located in the far-left corner of the property.

Children MUST be supervised at all times by an adult

Entry to the pool is at your own risk.

Pool towels are available at reception. Please do not take your white room towels up to the pool area.

Our Spa is operational and very luxurious, but needs to be initially turned on by one of our staff. We will endeavour to turn it on while we notice you up there but don’t be scared to ask us to turn it on.

During your stay with us, if you notice anything which needs our attention, please inform us before you leave. If it affects your quality of stay, please see us or give us a call right away so we can address it ASAP. We like to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We ask that you please return your key by leaving it in reception.

 If you are leaving early or in a hurry, we ask that you either leave the key in the door lock or in the key return box by the reception door.

We now have a washing machine available to use for all of our guests. The machine accepts $1 and $2 coins and is $5 per load. The price includes generic washing powder and use of the dryer. Inquire at reception for change and machine availability.
